Of course Orbán is trying to score political points by attacking the EU and cozying up to Trump—his anti-EU rhetoric is nothing new. Instead of blaming von der Leyen, maybe Hungary’s leadership should focus on working with the rest of Europe to negotiate fairer deals and protect workers’ rights.

Honestly, Orbán is spot on here. The EU’s leadership, especially von der Leyen, keeps getting outplayed on the world stage, and this deal just proves it again. We need strong leaders who actually put the interests of European nations first, not globalist elites who cave to Washington every time. Maybe it’s time for real change at the top—someone who cares more about our sovereignty than Brussels bureaucrats do.

It's frustrating to see Orbán using this as an excuse to bash EU leadership, when what we really need is stronger, more transparent negotiations that put workers and social protections first in any transatlantic deal.

This is exactly why we shouldn't let Brussels negotiate on our behalf—once again they get steamrolled by the US while pretending they know what's best for Europe.
